A key for the pictures' descriptive information is given at the bottom of the parent page.
December 2011 sees a new initiative to show all the non-abstract images available in colour. All the new additions are annotated Ph3, the text listings of works by name are retained in batches of 50 and where the work is shown below, the number will be in green.
And May 2012, the plan is to try for images of every work, initially filling the gaps with temporary black-and-white images from the Catalogue. These are annotated Ph4. All images are now in place: green means that a colour image is available.
