John L. Senior Jr. owned 15 Mondrians: B28, B50, B117, B127, B132, B150, B156(151), B182, B183, B201, B223, B227, B245, B253 and B322(B294). The photograph shows eight of his Mondrians arranged over two pianos. Taken by Aaron Siskind, it was published in Art News June 4th 1951, for an article, Five Outstanding Collections. B201 is on the right, I'll try to spot the others in due course. The second image, from Bois, shows part of a 1931 letter from Mondrian to Albert van den Briel with sketches of what appear to be B201 and B226. |

There is a remarkable similarity between B215 and B228. |
