Description
In this fast-paced thriller, Shannen Doherty plays Lindsay Scott, a
determined reporter for her school's television station who stumbles upon a
conspiracy. After capturing an explosion at a biotech lab on videotape,
Lindsay is pursued by people willing to kill to get their hands on the tape.
She soon discovers that the conspiracy concerns the theft of a vaccine
formula as well as a kidnapping, and it may very well involve a
gubernatorial candidate she has interviewed. However, nobody -- not even the
local TV reporter she idolizes -- is willing to believe her theory. 1992 /

And
here's Greta again on the cover of Playboy Oui, October 79. Rather a shame
the seller did not include a scan.
Playboy
- Oui - October, 1979
7th Anniversary Issue
This
is the highly sought after October 1979 issue of Oui Magazine. Oui was
published by Playboy begining in 1972 to combat the competition from
Penthouse and other magazines. Greta Blackburn is on the cover.
This issue features, in a 14 page pictoral, Oui's all time favorite girls:
Sylvie from 1972; Uschi from 1973; Carole from 1974; Nina from 1975; Lenka
from 1976; Katia from 1977; and, Carolyn from 1978. the centerfold (and 10
page pictoral) is Abby from Guadeloupe. Pat McCormick teaches you the
gentlemanly art of dropping trou. There is an interview (touted as the
interview of the decade) with Lenny and Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley
and an article by C. W. Metcalf - Fail Soft or How I Learned to Stop
Worrying and Love the Vibrator. For car buffs there's an article on
Italian cars featuring the Ferari 308 GTS, the Maserati Merak/SS and Alfa
Romeo Spider Veloce, among others. For Sports Buffs there's Oui's Guide to
College Football (what gets honors for the Worst Trophy and who gets
honors for the Worst Coach? - bid and find out). There is also a full page
ad for the October, 1979 issue of Playboy featuring Burt Reynolds which I
also have up for auction this week.
This
issue is listed on the Ken Ritchie Collectibles web site as an
"exception issue" which are almost never available in any grade.
"These 'exception issues' all have waiting lists, some of which are
quite lengthy." Go ahead, check
it out yourself.
This
magazine is in excellent condition for its age; binding is tight,
centerfold intact, the interior is complete (all pages and staples in
place - no rust here), with the following flaws: a very tiny (and I mean
tiny) bump on the lower left corner and very slight edge discoloration. |
Came
round again with a scan this time. |

it all:
Tracy Bergman is Cherry, set up by her boyfriend, busted for coke, and
sent to womnen-in-prison-Hell. Jill St. John is the warden.
There's lots of the expected torture and humiliation.

Abstract
Staged in old Québec City, this film is about a rebel against the time-clock,

memorable portrait of Québec, the "Grande Dame" of Canadian cities.

incarnation as The New York Enforcer, a better paper. The not-so-good Mayor
Franklyn (Laurence Luckinbill) adopts Lois as his personal assistant when
she bursts into his office one day and strongly advises him to cut the
pressure to shut down porn shops or he will lose the vote of New York's
youth. She hires a photographer (David Naughton) to work in the mayor's
office, planning to use his skills for her tabloid paper, but then a quirky
menage a trois arises between the mayor, the photographer, and Lois. After
