Egypt 1866 - 1958

The stamps in this section cover the period from Turkish rule, through independence (as a kingdom and then a republic) up to the formation of the United Arab Republic with Syria in 1952. I have not included the stamps while as a British Protectorate (1914-1922). The UAR and A.R. Egypt stamps are in a separate section.
