Notes:
60.1 For Tanzania, Gibbons Scott's #1 Tanganyika, beginning Tanzania in 1965 with SG128 (Sc#5), 5 cents blue and orange depicting the Hale hydroelectric plant.
60.2 I think Zambia's first commemorative and first stamp are one and the same, celebrating, as it does, independence.
60.3 Tanzania's first commemorative, the Z142, was only sold in Zanzibar.
60.4 Gibbons Simplified has an entry for Khor-Fakkan, but does not recognise any of its stamps as being issued for genuine postal purposes. The entry states that the stamps were similar to and sometimes overprints of  Sharjah.

Notes:
61.1 Aden and its dependencies, formerly part of the Indian Empire, became a Crown Colony in 1937. In 1963 it joined the South Arabian Federation, which changed its name in 1968 to the Paople's Republic of Southern Yemen and to the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen in 1970. In 1990 it united with the Yemen Arab Republic to form what Gibbons refers to as the Yemen Republic (combined), but a civil war delayed the implementation of the merger. Scott lists the People's Republic and the People's Democratic Republic together. Both catalogues list Yemen and Yemen Arab Republic together.
61.2 I cannot find Biafra in Scott.
