Notes:
18.1 The Samoan #1 is listed in four varieties in Scott:

The distinctions are rather fine for my sensibilities (e.g. the Type II has a broken line above the 'X' and a small dot near the upper right serif of the 'M'). The 1c is significantly more expensive and so I might settle for one of the others. Gibbons Simplified just specifies SG15 as 1d blue and notes that most examples found in old collections are worthless reprints. Mine (from a FICC auction, April 2004) is a Type III.

18.2 Montserrat #1 is an Antigua overprint. The first real Montserrat stamp is the 1880 2½ d red Sc3 SG9, but that is rather expensive at £225 / £65. I favour the ½d green Sc5 SG6, dated 1884 by Scott, at £1 / £6.50.
18.3 A Poonch Official is not mentioned in Mackay. Scott lists an 1888 Sc-O1 1d black handstamp.
18.4 For Poonch's last issue, five values from 1880-88, Scott lists six separate sets on differently coloured paper, the last being an inexpensive 2 anna red on lavender paper, Sc24. My Gibbons Simplified merely mentions that they were printed on different papers.
18.5 Mackay dates Mozambique's first airmail as 1946. Scott starts in 1938 with Sc-C1, 10 centavos red.
18.6 For Mozambique charity, Mackay specifies the impressive 1916 War Tax stamp, ScMR1 / SG234. Scott's first charity is the (equally impressive) 1920 B1 / SG309 for the benefit of war victims.
18.7 Johore's first stamp is a Straits Settlements handstamp overprint. Their first real stamp is the 1891 Sc19 2c lilac and yellow. The 1c purple Sc18 SG21 is dated 1894 by Scott.
18.8 Gold Coast's ½d  yellow and green stamps (SG 4 and 11a) were issued in 1879 and 1884. The only difference between Gold Coast #1 and #5 is the price and the perforations. I'll settle for a #5.
18.9 Gold Coast's first post due is rather fully-priced and so I will settle for the J2 D2.
18.10 Scott quotes Bhopal #1 as $300 min or used, Gibbons Simplified as £3 or £6. Presumably a variant of shade / paper etc.
18.11 Johore's first Postage Due, ScJ1 SGD1 is the least expensive of the group.
18.12 Mackay states 1921 for Cape Verdi's first commemorative, but I can't spot such a stamp in Scott or Gibbons. I'll go for the 1939.
18.13 Again on Mozambique I'm struggling to find Mackay's 1913 commemorative and so will go for the 1924.

Notes:
19.1 Bulgaria airmail. C1 and C3 are dated 1928. C2 and C4 are equal candidates for the first airmail. I'm going with C4 as the lowest denomination and the first in Gibbons. See Bulgaria page.
19.2 Mackay's first Chinese airmail is dates 1932, presumably the Sc-C11 SG422 15c green. Scott begins with the 1921 ScC1 15c green and black.
19.3 Similarly for Post Dues, Mackay and Gibbons begin in 1912 (Sc J19 ½c blue, SGD207), Scott in 1904 with the ScJ1 ½c chocolate.
19.4 Scott first China Charity is the 1920 ScB1 SG349 1c on 2c green for victims of the 1919 Yellow River flood. Mackay's is the 1932 (Sc307 SG406) North-West China Scientific Expedition, some of which were sold at a premium to finance the venture.
I suspect that there is something I don't yet know about regime change or provinces in China which informs these differences.
19.5 The first real Panamanian airmail is the 1930 ScC7 SG235 15c green. The three stamps ScC6A-C were issued in 1941.
19.6 Bosnia and Herzegovina Scott #1, the ½kr black was issued in 1894 and so #2 is the first, but I'll aim to get both.
19.7 On Bosnia and Herzegovina Charity, Scott's B1 is the 1914 7h on 5h green, the purpose of which is unclear. Mackay's 1916 is, presumably, the ScB9 SG391 5h + 2h  green for war wounded. It is worth noting that the 1917 set B13-15, SG413+, three values to fund a memorial church at Sarajevo to he assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and Archduchess Sophia, without which the world would be a different place.
19.8 Faridkot is listed in Scott as both a Feudatory State and a Convention State.#1-#3 are from the former and the latter runs from #4.
19.9 The first Labuan issue is another example of Gibbons Simplified living up to its name as Scott shows #1 at $600. SG17 will be the 1880 Sc5 with a different watermark. In Scott terms, the best value of the 1879 issue is the Sc#4, SG4 16c blue is the most affordable at £45 / £85.
19.10 Perak's first stamp is a Straits Settlements handstamp overprint. Their first real stamp is the 1892 Sc42 1c green.
19.11 For Bosnia and Herzegovina, Scott #1, the ½ novcica black, was issued in 1894, so first place goes to #2, the 1n grey.
19.12 Selangor's first stamp is a Straits Settlements handstamp overprint. Scott also notes that for Sc#1, #2 and #2a, their "authenticity is questioned". #3 is another expensive overprint. Their first real stamp is the 1891 Sc24 SG40 1c green.
19.13 Sungei Ujong's first stamp is a Straits Settlements overprint and is numbered #2 - no mention of #1. Their first real stamp is the 1891 Sc31 2c red.
19.14 Bulgaria issued he first ever Sunday Delivery stamp in 1925.
19.15 On Perak Official, Gibbons SG-O1 is the 2c red. Scott regards that as Sc-O3 because of a watermark variation. Given that the Sc-01 12c blue is priced at £150 and the SG-O1 (Sc-O3) 2c red at  £2, I'll take the 2c.
19.16 For Sirmoor, Mackay and Scott date the first as 1879, Gibbons as 1876.
19.17 All the Labuan Post Dues are around the same price range.
