Notes:
24.1 For British South Africa Co (later Rhodesia), the SG1 is Scott's #2, the 1d black, issued the year before Sc#1.
24.2 For French Morocco, Scott's #1 is clear. Gibbons Simplified regards this period as French Post Offices in Morocco and starts French Morocco proper in 1914 with SG40 (another overprint): Scott describes 1914 onwards as French Protectorate and also numbers sequentially. There were no real FM stamps in the 1891 to 1914 period.
24.3 French Morocco's airmail C1, the 5c orange was issued in 1927. The first is therefore C2, 1922.
24.4 There are no sensibly-priced early Nossi-Be Post Dues.
24.5 The first real Diego Suarez stamp is delightful but expensive: all of the 4-stamp series are outside my budget. Counterfeits are common - I might make an exception in this case and buy one.
24.6 None of the 1889 first issue Bamra overprint stamps are affordable. The 1890 issue are to be preferred.

Notes:
25.1 On Cook Islands Official, Gibbons notes that he first set,  SG-O1 to SG-O15, were only issued CTO, never unused and a price of £8 is given for the full set. This suggests that O16 should be regarded as the first Official.
25.2 There were two printings of French Indian Settlements first Charity Stamp B1 - first wit the surcharge at the top, second at the bottom. Mine is a second printing, but still a B1.
25.3 Scott calls it French Polynesia throughout, Gibbons Oceanic Settlements from 1892 until 1958 and thereafter French Polynesia.
25.4 This Horta is an SG15 rather than an SG1 by virtue of its perforations, but is included because of its super cancel.
