Gibbons Simplified does not seem to differentiate between the two Middle Congo overprints, which is why I ended up with a B2.

Table 35

Notes:
35.1 South Africa's #1 is also its first commemorative celebrating, as it does, the Union Parliament opening in 1910. I have therefore also shown the next commem., the 1935 Silver Jubilee Issue.
35.2 New Zealand Sc108a stamps overprinted with King Edward VII Land were taken by Shackleton on an Antarctic expedition. The stamp was never sold at face value and Shackleton didn't get to KEVII Land. A similar thing happened in 1911 with a Victoria Land overprint, see above.
35.3 British New Hebrides, Sc1, the ½d green was issued in 1909, so #2 is the first. It is also a lot cheaper.

35.4 Rhodesia began with stamps inscribed British South Africa Co. In 1909, some of these were overprinted Rhodesia but then more BSA Co. were issued. From 1924 onwards Southern Rhodesia stamps were used. In 1953. Southern Rhodesia joined Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland to form the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. The Federation ended in 1963 and Southern Rhodesia became a self-governing colony. The 1965 commemorative above is, I think,  the first real Rhodesian stamp.
35.5 Scott distinguishes between British Central Africa (1891 to 1907) and Nyasaland (1908 onwards). Gibbons treats these as one and calls it Nyasaland Protectorate.
35.6 Scott's organisation of Trengganu's first commemeratives is rather arbitrary, the stamps being an afterthought and the normal value sequence interrupted by watermark distinctions. I therefore show both the 2c and the 5c values.
35.7 Tetuán, Moroccan town and the capital of the former Spanish zone. Stamps of Spanish Morocco and of Spain were handstamped 'Tetuan' 1908-10. I have not yet found this on Gibbons.
