Notes:
36.1 Mackay starts Australia in 1902, when their Post Due Sc-J1, SG-D1 was issued. Their first stamp was issued in 1913. In an article in the Jan 2004 edition of First Issues Journal, Jesper Andersen (who has been a great help in getting me started on FIs) notes that the 1d red (Sc2, SG2) was issued on 2nd Jan 1913, the 2d grey (Sc3, SG3) on 11th Jan, and the ½d green (Sc1, SG1) on 14th Jan .
36.2
Libya #1 was issued in 1915, #2 in 1912, see here.
36.3 Mackay dates Tibet's first as 1911, when it was using surcharged Chinese stamps. Scott favours 1912 when it issued its own stamps: Gibbons caters for both with Section A (1911) Chinese Post Offices and B (1912) Tibet as an Independent State.
36.4  Orchha Sc1 was issued after Sc2.
36.5 I can find this T&T in Scott but not in Gibbons. Scott describes it as a seal which could be used to pay ½d postage on 18th September 1914. Valued at $325 on cover and $12.50 mint.
36.6
Italian Offices - Aegean: there are General Issues and issues for individual Aegean Islands which are numbered separately by Scott. Gibbons lists these under Italian Occupation of Dodecanese Islands and numbers them strangely. I will be guided by Scott and add the Gibbons numbers where I can.
36.7 Albania #1 is complex. Scott starts in 1863 with a couple of pages of Austrian Offices numbered Sc2A1 though Sc2A353. These are followed in 1913 by Sc1 / SG1, an expensive handstamped Turkish overprint. Then there are some handstamped and typewritten stamps, some with "sewing machine perforations" and, still in 1913, the first real Albanian stamp.
36.8 Quelimane began with three sets of eight stamps of identical denominations, surcharged on those of Macau, Portuguese Colonies and Timor. Scott starts with the Macau surcharges (Sc1, SG9), Gibbons with the Colonies (Sc9, SG1). On the first real stamp set, Scott begins with a ¼c olive brown (Sc25) and then a ½c black (Sc26): Gibbons has a ½c green (SG25) and then a ½c black (SG26). I suspect the Gibbons denomination is a misprint. Gibbons have confirmed the error in their catalogue (January 2004), but declined my suggestion of a free copy of next year's catalogue as a reward.
36.9 Tete's surcharges are arranged identically to Quelimane, but without the misprint.
36.10 Tibet O1s crop up occasionally on eBay. Scott mentions them but notes that their status is in question. No mention in Gibbons.

Notes:
37.1 My Epirus set, like most others, is fake. I cannot find it in Gibbons Simplified, but it is listed in SG Part 3, Balkans, with this issue starting the Provisional Government section. It as priced at £150 / £100 in the 1998 4th edition.
37.2 French Morocco's Sc1, the 5c orange, was issued in 1927, making the 25c blue Sc2 the first.
37.3 Mafia Island, captured by the British from the Germans in 1915, used German East Africa "Yacht" stamps overprinted G.B. / MAFIA. Gibbons lists these under Tanganyika. Only a few are priced under £100, so I'll aim to pick up any one I can.
37.4 Gibbons deals with Austro-Hungarian Military Post under Austria five categories as below. Scott lists these as Occupation issues associated with the occupied country or area. Gibbons descrives the General issue as Bosnia and Herzegovina overprints, Scott as a similar design to B&H.

Year Stamp Gibbons
Austro-Hungarian Military Post
Scott
1915 Austria Military overprinted or inscribed  K.U.K. FELDPOST  A. General Issues Austria M1
