(19th Jan 2002) Mondrian YSL Doll By gum, I would like one of these. YVES SAINT LAURENT Enamel Lead Fashion Doll Each Box measures 4-1/4" wide and 3-1/2" high and is 1-3/4" deep. The box was designed as a display for the doll listed. the shiny area on the back is intended as a mirror. The Designer of the costume shown is printed on the paper on the backdrop. They were made in France and purchased in the late 1980's or early 1990's. Each is a cast lead figure painted with enamel paint, and represents a design by a Famous Designer. The one shown is "Yves St. Laurent" and titled "d'apres Mondrian", designed in by St. Laurent in 1965. Please see our other listings as we are listing quite of few of these, all with different designers. They have never been displayed and are in very good condition. I might try to fake one. 20th April 2002 - managed to pick one up from a French seller at a far more reasonable price.	o

(6th May 2002) Almost as good as the above, here's a beaut, just arrived on eBay. This auction is for a crisp, fresh, SUMMER DRESS by “JRT”, size 16. Design is “color-blocked” like a Mondrian Painting. Very artsy. This perky little dress is fully lined. Fabric is a blend of 55% linen/45% cotton. Lining is 100% nylon. It is knee-length: 38” long from back of neck. Bust 42” - Waist 38” - Hips 42”. I only wore it only a few times, then gained lots of weight! Still in the dry cleaner’s bag. So it’s in very good, clean condition, from non-smoking home.	o

He has over 2,000 dresses from his own personal label as well as famous world class designers such as Brioni and Dior, to name a couple. We would like to name them all, but ebay frowns upon the use of another's name. Prili's collection inlcudes items from Jackie Kennedy, Joan Crawford, Audrey Hepburn, Lana Turner, Rita Hayworth, Sanrda Dee, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly and Italian classics like Mina, Sophia Loren and Rita Pavone. Some of these items were obtained outright from the actresses themselves, while others were obtained from the family's movie studios here in Rome. A large collection that takes up too much space, so it's time to share. Some are new, others used in fashion shows, others vintage. Unless otherwise noted, they are in good wearable condition with no noticeable flaws, tears, discoloration or other defects. This is a lovely Brioni vintage dress. (8th Jul 2002) 60s NOS Space Age PINK MOD MONDRIAN DRESS S/M THE ULTIMATE ART SCHOOL GIRL DRESS! Hey, even if your knowledge of modern art couldn’t fill a martini glass, this super mod dress will say otherwise. With a wink and a nod to the modern master, Mondrian, this dress epitomizes all that we come to associate with 60s space age fashion. It blocks the pink, turquoise, and blue with thick lines of black. There is nothing fussy with the simple shift shape, jewel neckline and short cap sleeves. This dress would look great with some black boots, a riding helmet style hat and wrap shades. This dress is deadstock with its original tag still attached, however we did have to make a small repair on the shoulder seam where there was a little hole (see pics). The label is “Another Exquisite Fashion from Beauty Loom, size 11/12”. There is no fiber content listed and the fabric feels like a cotton/rayon woven to mimic linen. As far as the size, this is no modern 11/12 as the measurements are 34-32-36 with a length of 36”.

(26th September 2001) 1965 Mondrian St.Laurent Eberstadt photo Vintage and original 9.5 x 14 " photograph on heavy double weight gallery paper. Isabel Eberstadt in St. Laurent dress inspired by Mondrian. Photographed in Paris by famous photographer Frederick Eberstadt and so marked on back. The only flaw is the engraving office time date stamp from the magazine on the back left a impression that slightly is raised on the front otherwise fine condition.
(25th October 2001) This original photograph is by Christoph Sillem of model Alec Wek. The description on the rear states Alec is wearing a "Mondrian" Haute Couture Hiver outfit from 1965. The photo was submitted to the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in the late 1990's. Measures approx. 8 x 10 inches, is without color and is in perfect condition.

(15th Jun 2002) Le Coq Sportif Mondrian Jersey - Rare! This is an authentic Le Coq Mondrian Jersey! This is the same print/material that the La Vie Claire Tour de France team wore. Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond wore this. The difference with this jersey is it is not plastered with sponsors all over it. It has the Le Coq logos and says "Le Coq Sportif" front/back. The side panels read "equipe" and "america". It is a silky smooth material with a shiny finish unique to Le Coq. It has 3 back pockets. Beautiful and timeless design.	o

(25th May 2002) Peter Max Neomax Art Top/Shirt Mondrian Women Beautiful top from the 80's Peter Max signaature series. Features a deatail from the 1986 painting 'Mondrian Ladies', acrylic on canvas. Neomax label has 1987 as the copyright date. 100 percent cotton shirt is in excellent condition with only the slightest of wear, no stains, tears or holes. You can see the painting in Homages section. I didn't like that much either.
(7th May 2001) I'll not bother buying this one, but a Mondrian suit pattern would be another kettle of fish. "Simple to Sew" Simplicity pattern #6394. Remember Yves St. Laurent's Mondrian-inspired dresses of the 60's? It was a classic look then, and fun to wear now. Misses size 10 (bust 31, waist 24, hip 33 OLD SIZING). Pattern is cut but complete, envelope is somewhat worn, from a nonsmoking home.

25th May 2002 eBay The MOD Squad! You are bidding on a darling white polyester sheath that sports a delightful Mondrian design on the bodice. I honestly can’t say how vintage or contemporary this garment is, but it sure pulls off the look of the 60’s...soooo mod! The only label is that of the Jay Jacobs store...no size is indicated but I put it at about a 7/8. The actual measurements are:Bust - 35”/36”Waist - 29”/30”Hips - 35”Length - 34.5” .The dress is slightly “nipped” at the empire waist...it is unlined and has a back zipper.
(7th September 2001) Mens Unique Mondrian Yohji Yamamoto Sweater This is a unique unworn flawless and authentic vintage wool knit sweater featuring a Mondrian design by Yohji Yamamaoto. Mens Size Medium but I believe this sweater was only made in one size. It fits a Mens US 40-44/ European 50-54 best. 100% Wool in a cream/ off white color with very vivid red yellow black anc blue. Made in Japan. This sweater retails for $730 and is available for 75% off with no reserve!!! Going for a mere $175.
(13th June 2001)  Christian Dior "Miss Dior" silk twill scarf . Miss Dior was introduced as a fragrance in 1947 by Dior and we have found a couple of sixties and seventies garments with the label. So, it was also used for clothing. This scarf is perhaps an accessory or homage to one of Diors most well known creations of the 1960s. A shift dress printed with this same Mondrian-esque pattern. The dress is a rare and much sought after item. We once found a very good knock off but the original is still on our list of 'must find' ! Hand rolled hem. Logo in design lower right. A couple of watermarks and a small stain. Some very small thin areas and pinholes. The shadows you see in the golden areas etc are just that; shadows. Overall impression is however quite nice. 22" square (56cm X 56cm)
