This looks like being
a good month on eBay
Brand new, hot off the
press-ing board! Bright, pure primary colors of true red (not orange-y),
bright yellow and rich royal blue, along with white and black. Winning
bidder will receive 16 separate machine-sewn blocks. One sample block is
shown. The quilt top shown displays the style of blocks you will receive,
with addition of black sashing. (Your blocks may vary slightly but you get
the general idea.) Size of each block is 10 x 12", and together these will
make a quilt top of 51 x 43" with black sashing as shown. (I will include
some black fabric for the sashing as well.) Add another border or two to
increase size if desired. Perfect for a wall quilt, a little larger
baby-toddler quilt, or for anybody who loves red-yellow-blue! 100% cotton
fabrics were prewashed and pressed before construction. From smoke free, pet
free home.

WoW! This is a fabulous vintage sheet in a cool Mondrian print! It is a
full size top sheet made by J. P. Stevens. It is a 50/50 cotton/poly blend
percale. The colors are still so vibrant and it is in great condition.
This would be cool paired with a black or bright color solid sheet! Or
make a duvet or shower curtain with it! This would look excellent in any
mid-century modern or mod 60's pad! Very Eames era! |

A great vintage quilt that is hand appliqued and hand quilted well at a neat
5-6 stitches per inch.The quilting is done in a 1 1/4" crosshatch in the
background and in various designs in the different colored applique.The
quilt has the appearance of a Mondrian painting.It is very thin with no
batting and a green hand attached binding.It measures 66"x99" and is in
mint,unwashed and unused condition

This auction is for
three pillow covers, screen-printed with a Mondrian-type print. The fabric
is a natural fiber - muslin, I think. They measure a little over 24 by 23
inches. They are in good, solid shape. The colors are still pretty strong
for the most part, but are a little uneven in places, maybe a little faded.
The pillows are probably vintage; they're clean and unstained except for a
smudge near the signature on the back of one (pictured). |

This one keeps coming around on ebay and at a starting price of $6,500 is
likely to continue to do so.
"Composition in Red, Yellow and Blue" is a heavy wool
tapestry measuring 7' X 7' (213 cm X 213 cm) from an edition of only 20.
Using the artist's original design as a model, the weaver re-creates the
artist's vision in a different medium.
Few weavers possess the skill, sensitivity and enduring patience necessary
to create a tapestry with nearly 700,000 hand tied knots, with 20 threads
to each knot. Three or four weavers dedicate up to four months to complete
such a tapestry.
This edition sold out more than 20 years ago and this is a rare
masterpiece of enduring beauty and value. |

This new floorcloth by Bushka Designs measures 35.5" x 43.5"
and is painted on duck canvas. A replica of a famous painting by Dutch
artist Pieter Mondrian. Features three coats of polyeurathane and 2 coats
of hand polished wax for years of enjoyment.
Tried
to buy this but $40 was not sufficient. We plan to buy a Sisal (sp?) rug
and paint it ourselves once I have taken out the carpets and laid a wooden
floor. |
