New Zealand definitives

I set out with the intention on this page of sticking more closely to the original subject of definitives, but this clearly not going to work as there are so many splendid 1d + 1d charity stamps to display.

	1 penny and 1 cent stamps
1855 Sc1 SG1 1d dull carmine £32,000 / £9,500		All NZ stamps shared the same design until 1873, SG143. There were all the usual variations of perforation, colour, paper and watermark. 1882 Sc61 SG187 1d rose £35 / £5		Die, colour, watermark, paper and perf variants, 11 in C&BE, Simplified: SG237. NZ also allowed advertising on the backs of stamps during this period and Gibbons categorises ads by design and suffixes the stamps accordingly. Advertising ceased in 1893.
