Nudes on Stamps

The subject of this page is self explanatory. The motive is given on the parent page.

I will tend to avoid religious images and poorly, mass-produced "stamps" from sources such as Equatorial Guinea. Some of these will be found on the Rejects page.

The page has been indirectly honoured in video with this piece on YouTube, most of the stamps used have been taken from this page. An acknowledgement would have been nice.

The dealers Murray Payne publish an occasional newsletter and in issue 72, December 2007 in an article on Sarawak notes "The 1950 set was a fine set of the 'tourist label' type. Indeed, it was aimed at a rather wider audience than just potential tourists. The 50ct, showing a bare-breasted native woman, was specifically designed to attract young civil servants to decide to make their careers in Sarawak. I wonder if any did venture east as a result of seeing this stamp."
