backing. Picture shows a train on track. Photo was done by CR Blackburn,
Houston, Texas. Picture measures 7 3/4 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
Cardboard backing 8 1/4 by 11. I have been unable to identify train or age
of photo. |

This snapper's first name is unknown, just "Blackburn the
Photographer". Underwhelming.
This
is a great photograph of Man’s best friend. It is from Blackburn, The
Photographer – on De Mers Ave. in Grand Forks, ND. This photograph is in
very good condition. I wonder how long it took to take this great one of a
kind photos.

This
is a wonderful LARGE VICTORIAN PHOTO. It measures approx 17 in x 2o 1/2in
..including the matte. I was told that it is a graduation picture of the
entire class! ...6 girls and 1 boy. The details of the photo are so very
interesting...their clothing of course, corsages, baskets,
certificates...but also the scenery is outstanding. Notice the ethched
glass window, border and wallpaper and room decor. My camera really did
not capture the great quality of this photo..it is very sharp and crisp. A
real step back in time. The matte has yellowed or darkened..not unusual
for its age. Under the matte is a stamp ...GEO. F. BLACKBURN
PHOTOGRAPHER GRAND FORKS DT. . We think this is from GRAND FORKS NORTH
DAKOTA. A very Norwegian and Scandinavian area. Don't miss out on this
super photo! She needs a good home! |
