USA 1 cent stamps

Note that as elsewhere on this site, I take the Simplified approach to stamps and rarely distinguish between perforation, watermark, paper or shade variants. Unlike Gibbons, I intend to list the first of each group of stamps, not the cheapest. As with GB, although the original intention was to show just the definitives, I have also included the pictorials and commemoratives. USA $1 stamps follow.

The images for many of the early (expensive) stamps have been provided by Rodolfo Torres Vazquez, thanks also to Tim Balm, both fellow members of FICC.
